Job description:
Arrange, organize and attend distributions and provide distribution lists:
Organize and arrange distributions according to SOP defined by HEERO;
To distribute food commodities and cash to eligible beneficiaries strictly following verification process, methodology and standards defined by HEERO and partner agencies;
To collect all the data needed for reporting after distributions.
Submit accurate and detailed reports on distributions and assistance provided to beneficiaries during distributions.
Ensure that all commodities entrusted to HEERO arriving at food distribution point are properly accounted for.
Check all waybills for commodities arriving at the distribution points. Ensure that the commodities are of correct quantities and quality as manifested on the waybill. Immediately record all quantities delivered short (missing), quantities lost in transit and quantities damaged (if any, in the field and FDP). All observations must be recorded immediately.
At the distribution points, commodities must be stacked in an organized manner, by commodity type to facilitate easy distribution.
Take active role in the registration and verification of beneficiaries to ensure that the process is fair
Organize and supervise general food and cash distributions in the field.
At the food distribution points, commodities must be properly stacked
 Ensure that the food and cash distribution point is properly organized and secured with ropes and crowd control measures put in place to ensure smooth distribution and flow of beneficiaries.
Responsible to ensure that all necessary distribution equipment are available at the distribution point, including forms, ropes, banners, plastic sheets, measuring devices etc.
Supervise loading of food that is left over after distributions. Ensure that a waybill is prepared for food to be returned to the warehouse.
Prepare distribution point visit reports, food and cash monitors report.
Ensure proper completion and safe return of all tally documents and beneficiary lists to the office for safe storage.
Ensure proper accounting of all quantities of commodities received and distributed at each distribution point.
Select beneficiaries based on the WFP vulnerability criteria for Unconditional Seasonal Support project.
Distribute food and cash among the vulnerable beneficiaries in the target districts.
Prepare beneficiaries distribution list and distribution plan before the distribution process.
Maintaining proper hard and soft filing system of all related documents
Perform any other duties delegated by the supervisor.
Jobs Requirements:
EDUCATION:                      
At least High School (12th class) graduate, university degree is preferable.
only candidates from Kapisa only accepted.
WORK EXPERIENCE:      
At least three years experience in emergency response programs and related fields.
SKILLS:                               
Interpersonal and communication skills
Data management and documentation skills
Computer literacy and good command of word processing and spreadsheet and other database related programs.
Assessment, distribution management, community mobilization and report writing.
 
Languages: 
Fluent in Speaking and writing of national languages.
Ability to communicate in English is desirable.
 
GENERAL:                          
Good level of communication skills, conflict resolution and decision making capacities. The position will be required to travel to all project areas and willingness to work in emergency situations under difficult life conditions
